Cultural exchange project between Bandung Institute of Technology in Indonesia with Seoul Institute of The Arts in South Korea. ITB student as the motion grapher and the SIA student as the final producer. The collaboration was carried out with ITB visual communication design students as the motion grapher and several SIA student study programs as the producers. The result of this collaboration will be broadcast on the Youtube.

Color Pallete

We divided the color scheme into two main phases. It start with the dark segment and then to the vibrant segment.

The palette consists purples, blues, teals, yellows, and pinks, which are aligned with the following keywords:

Dramatic – The palette includes strong, contrasting colors like deep purples and rich blues that create a bold, theatrical feel.
Powerful – The use of intense shades, like golds and dark tones, conveys a sense of strength and authority.
Dynamic – The range of bright colors like turquoise, pink, and violet gives a sense of movement and energy, suggesting action and vitality.

Our concept revolves around the theme of Resurrection/Revival, focusing on a symbolic transition from darkness to light, representing growth, freedom, and transformation. The video will start with a dark and gloomy mood, and will gradually transitioning into lighter and more colorful shades following the dance moves and music beats, which is calm at first and then get faster gradually. The use of the Peacock Ngibing pattern or known as The Dancing Peacock is a typical Priangan batik that illustrates the majesty of a peacock, beauty, and protection.

I was responsible for creating storyboards, designing assets, crafting compositions, and bringing several key scenes to life through motion graphics.
