This illustration is drawn based on one of the Indonesian folk tales, namely Bawang Merah and Bawang Putih. It tells the story of Bawang Putih who got a pumpkin filled a treasure by an old woman while washing a red scarf belonging to her evil half sister, Bawang Merah.
